Jiade Montessori Bilingual Kindergarten Coastal Carnival, Qingdao Campus is located in Coastal Carnival Project Area, National Economic and Technology Development Zone, Qingdao. As the first international bilingual kindergarten with Montessori accreditation in Qingdao, JDM Qingdao Campus covers a land of nearly 4,000 square meters with an expected capacity of 250 students. JDM Qingdao Campus has 10 classes: 2 junior classes (for children aged 2-3) and 8 senior classes (for children aged 3-6). Each class is equipped with a lead teacher, assistant teachers, EAL teacher, and child care workers. Our campus is equipped with children’s kitchen, art room, physical training room, dancing and music room, and EAL room.

The Montessori Method nurtures children’s mind and heart, so that they grow into people who are self-organized, who can cooperate with others, be at peace with themselves, adapt well to an ever-changing society, develop good language skills, and live a harmonious and fulfilled life. One of the key features of the Montessori Method is that a teacher with great patience, care, and professional knowledge is provided for a small group of mixed-age children. This teacher prepares a safe, welcoming, organized, and inspiring environment for children to explore freely. Montessori classes are equipped with scientific, systematic, and instructive teaching tools with automatic problem control, but also very appealing to children and easy for them to move and use. In this environment, children are able to learn by themselves and for themselves, pursue their own curiosity and interest, and at the same time build their characters through problem-solving, and develop social skills by cooperating with each other. This is why teaching materials or teaching tools are so important in Montessori Education.                      

We provide rich choices of teaching tools such as nature & science materials, art devices, and musical instruments, so that children can learn practical skills from daily life, build focus, coordination, confidence, orderness, and develop into full personality. The faculty at our school is comprised by experienced teachers specialized in early-child education and properly trained in Montessori education. As a result, our children can master Mandarin and English with ease just like their native language.

JDM integrates the Montessori Method into every part of our practice, especially in the five major subjects: practical life, sensorial, math, language, and culture, contributing to a vibrant and diversified curriculum. Teaching materials and tools are changed once a month in order to better satisfy children’s curiosity and better reflect the scenarios in their everyday life. Once the children enter the kindergarten, practical life classes becomes a bridge between the kindergarten and their homes. This class is intended to help develop children’s focus, independence, self-discipline, and writing skills, including how to write with a pencil.
